More markets, more festivals and more coproduction meetings (II)

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, the Malaga Spanish Film Festival has fixed its gaze on the Catalan audiovisual industry for this year's event. The result? Twenty-six Catalan films have been selected to take part in the festival, ten productions form part of a retrospective on the Catalan documentary and two more Catalan films will be screened as part of a tribute to the Barcelona-born actress Rosa Maria Sardà. What's more, forty-four Catalan companies will be attending MIPTV in Cannes, and at the end of the month, we're off to Rome for a Catalan Focus event at the CinemaSpagna Festival. Italy is the Consortium's European focus region for 2010 and this direct mission at CinemaSpagna will embody the active work of Catalan Films & TV in the areas of festivals, markets and coproduction meetings.
