The Festival International du Film d'Animation, held annually in Annecy, is a standard-setting encounter for the audiovisual animation industry. This festival, held from 7 to 12 June, will be including three Catalan productions this year competing for the award for best television series: "The Time Compass" directed by Federico Badia (Sol 90 Audiovisual), "Sandra, la detectiu de contes" by Myriam Ballesteros (Imira Entertainment, DQ Entertainment, Televisión Española) and "Ema&Gui" by Nuno Beato (Stor Fisk, Sardinha em Lata, Televisió de Catalunya, RTP Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, Big Picture).
Moreover, Catalan Films & TV will once again have its own stand at the MIFA -the market held side by side with the festival- to accompany the 11 Catalan companies that will be travelling to this event, one of the most important of its kind.
