Over 40 Catalan presented as candidates for the Malaga selection

On 25 and 26 February, the programming committee of the Malaga Spanish Film Festival visited Barcelona to view the latest candidates for inclusion in this year's event, which will be held 17 to 24 April. This is the second time that the festival has called on the Catalan Films & TV Consortium to lend a hand with the promotion of possible candidates and to draw up a screening agenda of the productions that might likely earn nominations.
Over the past few months, the festival has requested information on the status of the productions in progress. Moreover, Catalan Films & TV recently put together an exclusive preview list of over forty candidates in different genres, including documentaries, features and shorts.
As regards their recent visit to Barcelona, the Malaga Festival scouts are now deciding on a final list of screenings that will only take in feature-length fictions.
