Catalan animation triumphs at the Annecy Animated Film Festival

Arrugas / Wrinkles , directed by Ignacio Ferreras and produced by Cromosoma, Perro Verde Films and TVG, was honoured with the Special Jury Mention in the feature film category at the Annecy Animated Film Festival (4 to 9 June), one of the sector's most important events. This award simply adds to the long list of nominations and awards amassed by this animated film about old age, including the highest honours at Anima, Cartoon Movie, and the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film.
What's more, in a parallel competition, the Carrefour de la Création, the Catalan project Old Folk's Tales (PiaggiodeMatei and Hierro Animación) walked off with the Citia/Imaginove Award in the Cross Media section.
