5 catalan productions in the Official Selection at San Sebastian Festival

Just this morning, the Donostia Zinemaldia - San Sebastian International Film Festival announced the selection of Spanish films that will be taking part in its Official Section. All films are Catalan productions:
  • Aita, directed by José María de Orbe and produced by Eddie Saeta.
  • El gran Vázquez / The Great Vazquez, directed by Óscar Aibar, produced by Distinto Films, Castafiore Films and Tornasol Films.
  • Elisa K, directed by Jordi Cadena and Judith Colell, produced by Oberon Cinematogràfica.
  • Pa Negre / Black Bread, by director Agustí Villaronga, produced by Massa d'Or and Televisió de Catalunya.
  • Bicileta, cullera, poma / bycicle spoon apple , by Carles Bosch, produced by Cromosoma, Televisió de Catalunya. (out of competition)
Zabaltegui - New Directors
  • Blog , directed by Elena Trapé, produced by Escándalo Films

Over the upcoming weeks, the Festival will be releasing official updates on the different films slated to take part in the event. That is, until the entire programme is announced on 3 September. For our part, we are looking forward what looks like is going be a festival with a very solid line-up of Catalan films.
