The International Festival of Audiovisual Programmes (FIPA) , which was held between 23 and 29 January, presented two of its most esteemed awards to the films El cuaderno de barro / The Clay Diaries by Isaki Lacuesta and El Reino de Mr. Edhi / The Kingdom of Mr. Edhi by Amélie Saillez, which competed in the Performing Arts and Creative Documentary sections, respectively.
Lacuesta’s film walked off with the Golden FIPA in its category, and the film by Saillez took second place, the Silver FIPA, in its section, on top of the Télérama Prize that it won at the same festival.
The 25th celebration of the FIPA, which is considered to be one of the most important events for European television production, featured hearty Catalan participation in virtually every one of its sections. For the past several years, Catalan Films& TV has been working with the festival, hosting exclusive screenings for the art director and sending out candidates.
