Catalan Films & TV receives 130 funding applications

"To guarantee and reinforce the presence of the Catalan audiovisual industry at key international events". Such is the aim of the new funding line, according to Àngela Bosch, the Director of the Catalan Films & TV Consortium. This is the first time the Consortium has offered funding of this nature, which partially covers the attendance-related expenses for a certain list of festivals, markets and coproduction meetings around the world.
This first year, the funding was retroactively applied to activities that took place during 2009 and prior to the last date for the submission of applications. In all, Catalan Films & TV received some 130 applications from Catalan companies.
