Two Catalan productions in competition at Annecy '09

This year, the festival's official section, which brings together the very best of world animation, will be including two Catalan television series: Miguel Ángel García's ¡Hot Dog! Superheroes (El Jueves TV) and Saari, directed by Pablo Jordi (Stor Fisk, Imira Entertainment and Televisió de Catalunya).
These two nominations are the ideal addition to the diverse activities that Catalan Films & TV has lined up at this year's celebration, which will be held 8 to 13 June. Thus, the Consortium will be taking part in the festival's parallel market, MIFA, with a stand of its own (number 4-415) and will be hosting a coproduction meeting for Catalan and French professionals on 11 June.
Moreover, a dozen companies* will be travelling to Annecy to present their projects to 180 renowned buyers and festival representatives from all around the world.
